DigiYouth: Enhancing Digital Skills for Youth in Greece and Romania

Overview

Startup Greece and Asociatia Bistrita Business Academy collaborate on the DigiYouth project to address the lack of digital skills among youth, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Through non-formal education tools, the project aims to enhance digital readiness, resilience, and capacity among young people in Greece and Romania, thereby bridging the gap between formal education and the demands of the current job market.

The Project

Pilot Phase

– Trains 20 young people from Greece and Romania on educational guide subjects.
– Evaluates the impact of training on these young people aged 18-30.
– Aims to address digitally impaired youth by utilizing non-formal education tools.
– Project plan includes production, training, evaluation, implementation, and dissemination.

Objectives

– Promote intercultural exchange and cross-border collaboration at an international level.
– Ensure access to learning opportunities for youth in rural areas through training courses.
