Position Summary:

As a Social Media Manager at Startup Greece, you will play a vital role in conceptualizing, designing, and producing social and digital media campaigns to enhance our online presence. Your responsibilities will include identifying trending social media channels, creating, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms, and continuously optimizing the social media strategy. You will be tasked with developing a comprehensive editorial calendar aligned with brand objectives and customer needs, evaluating new social media and technology opportunities, and strategically engaging with bloggers and influencers. Monitoring campaign performance (awareness, interest, etc) and brainstorming innovative growth strategies will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will design and implement e-Public Relations campaigns, becoming the ready ear and voice of our organization while staying up-to-date with promising trends, tools, and channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and execute social and digital media campaigns.
• Manage content across all social media channels.
• Continuously optimize the social media strategy.
• Develop a comprehensive editorial calendar based on brand objectives and customer needs.
• Identify and evaluate new social media and technology opportunities.
• Strategically engage with bloggers and influencers.
• Monitor campaign performance (awareness, interest, and ROI).
• Brainstorm and implement creative growth strategies.
• Design and implement e-Public Relations campaigns.

Expectations:

• Effective communication skills,
• Proficient writing skills,
• Good organizational skills,
• Creative mindset,
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and WordPress,
• Able to work in a team,
• Academic knowledge of social media management, communication or cultural management.
• Experience with the Facebook power editor would be an advantage.

Requirements:

• Academic knowledge on communication, social media management and marketing
• Effective communication skills
• Proficient writing skills
• Good organizational skills
• Creative mindset
• Good knowledge of Social Media platforms and other channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube)
• Previous experience on social media handling is a plus
