Evangelia Athanasiou is an engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur with expertise in biomedical engineering and signal processing. She holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cyprus and an MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Her research spans nanoparticle characterization for cancer diagnostics to EEG-based speech perception analysis, and she has industry experience in eye-tracking and biosignal analysis at iMotions. Currently, she is a Research Associate at CYENS Center of Excellence and co-founder of SENSSOS, a healthcare startup supported by Cyprus Seeds and The EGG accelerator. She is passionate about bridging research with commercialization and inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
