EUTeens4Green: Promoting Composting and Sustainability in Tripoli

EUTeens4Green focuses on introducing a local compost system in Tripoli, an urban area in Arcadia surrounded by agriculture. This initiative responds to past waste management challenges, aiming to educate students on composting, provide compost to nearby agricultural productions, and foster sustainable agriculture. By implementing separate organic waste containers and educational workshops, the project aims to innovate waste management and promote sustainable practices in the community.

The Project

EUTeens4Green aims to establish a circular economy in Arcadia by promoting local consumption and converting waste into compost. This initiative addresses waste management challenges while fostering community solidarity and sustainable agricultural practices. By involving youth and collaborating with local stakeholders, the project contributes to building a more environmentally conscious and resilient community.
