Work Without Borders, a KA2-Small Scale project based in Poland, aims to promote the active participation of young citizens in local Participatory Budgets. This initiative facilitates their engagement in decision-making processes within municipalities. Through activities such as idea contests, project management workshops, and online promotion, the project empowers young people to develop and advocate for their ideas in the local budgeting process. Partner organizations collaborate to provide training sessions and organize transnational meetings, aiming to establish a pilot model for enhancing youth participation in local Participatory Budgets internationally.
The Project
Activities
- Preliminary Program Schedule: Develop a program for Youth Participatory Budgeting in Poland.
- Organizational Meeting: Develop an action plan.
- Project Management Training: Prepare and conduct workshops.
- Idea Contests: Conduct contests for local youth groups and select winners.
- Monitoring and Workshop Planning: Develop plans for monitoring and workshops.
- Training Sessions: Train participants on working with local authorities and finalize workshop content.
- Implementation: Conduct workshops for young people and prepare projects.
- Public Consultations and Promotion: Promote and implement projects through public consultations.
- Evaluation: Evaluate the project’s impact and outcomes.
