Work Without Borders

Overview

The “Work Without Borders” (WWB) project is an ambitious initiative conceived to address one of the most pressing challenges facing European youth today: access to meaningful employment, particularly for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Launched in 2023, this two-year project is a testament to the power of international cooperation, bringing together dedicated partners from Greece, Poland, and Germany.

At its core, WWB aims to dismantle systemic barriers and foster an inclusive labor market. Our collective goal is to significantly improve access to employment opportunities for individuals with “fewer opportunities,” a term encompassing a wide range of challenges, including economic obstacles, geographical isolation, disabilities, educational difficulties, and cultural differences. By focusing on these vulnerable populations, we strive to create a more equitable and accessible professional landscape.

The Project

Activities

Within the framework of the Work Without Borders (WWB) project, a series of targeted activities are implemented to strengthen the skills of young people and youth workers:

• Local Meetings for Youth Workers
  Training sessions focused on sharing good practices, developing competencies, and addressing current challenges in youth employment.
• Youth & Employers Meetings
  Interactive events that connect young people with employers, fostering networking, understanding of the labor market, and access to career opportunities.
• Development of a Digital Employment Platform
  Creation and testing of an innovative platform that connects young people with companies, offering job, internship, and collaboration opportunities.
• Training Workshops & Learning Activities
  Workshops and seminars designed to enhance key skills such as communication, employability, and understanding of professional environments.
• Skills Assessment & Certification
  Use of competency tests and evaluation tools to measure participants’ learning outcomes and recognize newly acquired skills.
• Dissemination & Networking Activities
  Communication and outreach actions to share project results, increase impact, and build a strong European collaboration network.
