Hello everyone, and happy new month! 🙂

March was a busy month for Startup Greece, do you want to have a insiders view?

Our month started with us welcoming Dimitris Tsingos, CEO of Epignosis, to our office in Tripoli. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss the future of entrepreneurship and innovation in Greece, and explore potential areas for future collaboration (perhaps in our city :P).

Career Day: University of the Peloponnese, Tripoli

On 18 March, we participated for the 3rd consecutive year in the Career Day of the University of the Peloponnese. As part of our mission to empower the next generation of Greek young professionals, we were glad to connect with students, share insights, and highlight opportunities within our network.

National Meeting: Anna Lindh Foundation Greek Network,  Trikala

The final week of March was especially active. From 26 to 29 March, our International Affairs Director, Manolis Kontaxakis, represented Startup Greece at the National Meeting of the Anna Lindh Foundation Greek Network in Trikala. The meeting brought together members from across the country for inspiring discussions on civil society, collaboration, and the importance of stronger networks for collective impact.

Events: Patras

On 27 March, our Manager Director, Thanos Paraschos, participated in the Driving Innovation in the Startup Ecosystem event in Patras. The event created space for meaningful dialogue around the future of startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Greece. Thanos contributed to the discussion by highlighting the importance of community-building, support structures, and ecosystem development in helping the next generation of founders grow and succeed.

That same period, Startup Greece was also present at the Piraeus Startup Accelerator in Patras, where Thanos experienced three days of strong energy, impressive speakers, and startup teams that stood out for their high level of execution and readiness. It was another clear reminder that the future of Greek innovation is increasingly decentralized, diverse, and full of potential.

Mid-Term Meeting: “From Waste to Worth”, Tripoli

To close the month, we were delighted to host the Mid-Term Meeting of the “From Waste to Worth” project. We reflected on progress, exchanged ideas, and strengthened collaboration around the circular economy and sustainable impact. We warmly thank Permacultura and Balkania for their valuable presence and contribution.

Overall, March was a month that reflected what Startup Greece stands for: building bridges, supporting communities, and contributing actively to a stronger and more connected innovation ecosystem in Greece.
