WeatherXM, just secured $7.7 million in funding led by Lightspeed Faction. Their goal? To create a worldwide network of tiny, affordable weather stations.  Imagine a system that combines the power of web3, internet-of-things (IoT) technology, and traditional weather monitoring – that’s WeatherXM’s vision. This decentralized, community-driven network would gather hyper-local weather data from every corner of the globe, making it universally accessible and beneficial.  WeatherXM believes this model will create significant value, open new doors, and ultimately improve the lives of millions around the world.

Next in line, Harbor Lab, just scored a big win with a $16 million funding round led by Atomico. Their innovative software tackles a longstanding headache in the shipping industry: managing disbursement accounts.  Harbor Lab’s platform automates the analysis of these accounts, using electronic data to calculate and compare port expenses against real-time costs.  This translates to a faster, more digital workflow, with fewer errors and significant cost savings for everyone involved in shipping – owners, managers, and charterers alike.
