Internship Positions – Data Analyst

Day-to-Day Description:

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manipulate, analyze and interpret complex data sets

• Create reports, presentations, graphs, and visualizations

• Prepare weekly reports for the management that effectively communicates trends, patterns, and predictions while using relevant data

• Collect, analyze & visualize data for research projects in tech innovation industry in order to be used in marketing activities

• Seek out opportunities to improve our data collection processes, methodologies and tools

• Utilize business intelligence reporting tools in order to identify root causes of systemic data problems & drive operational improvements

Expectations:

• Passion to work with data, database management skills preferred

• Proficiency in using MS Office applications (especially Excel)

• Analytical thinking

• Strong desire to constantly find ways to increase efficiency and drive improvements

• Own the belief that anything below excellent isn’t good enough and expect the same from those on your team

• Self-motivated, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Team player and has a can-do attitude with focus on details

• Fluent in English

As a plus:

• Basic SQL knowledge

• Prior experience working with SPSS

• A portfolio of data projects (with strong emphasis on the visualization part)

• Prior experience with R or Python data manipulation & visualization libraries
