Overview:
Launch the EU4Youth series in Rome with a focus on enhancing space and participation for all. This workshop is dedicated to empowering young Europeans to engage actively in policy-making and community building.

Key Objectives:

• Foster a supportive environment where young people can contribute to policy discussions.
• Ensure young people’s views are considered in decision-making processes.
• Create opportunities for active participation and engagement in public life.

Workshop Schedule and Activities:

Day 1 activities:

• Ice-breaking activities to foster familiarity among participants.
• Introduction to the workshop’s goals and an overview of EU Youth Goal #9.
• Evaluation of the current implementation of Goal #9 across the EU.

Day 2 activities:

• Future workshop activity split into three phases: Criticism, Fantasy, and Realization to address challenges of Goal #9.
• Collecting experiences: a session for sharing personal insights and policy impacts related to public participation.

Day 3 activities:

• Design for wiser action: participants collaborate to develop a Youth Toolkit for enhancing space and participation, outlining project ideas to support the achievement of Goal #9.
